Direct trust administration
and CSP audit experience

Trust and corporate service providers sit in an unusual position under Barbados' AML/CFT/CPF Regulations: designated as DNFBPs and regulated by the Financial Services Commission, yet administering structures — trusts, foundations, international business companies — that require a different due diligence approach than a straightforward corporate customer relationship. A CDD programme built for company shareholders does not automatically cover settlors, protectors, and discretionary beneficiaries properly, and gaps here are a recurring inspection finding.

Our founder, Rhonda Callender, C.Dir., FICA, FCG, brings direct professional experience in trust administration, corporate administration, and private equity administration alongside her governance and AML/CFT compliance advisory work — meaning trust structures are worked with directly, not treated as company administration with an extra due diligence field. Compliance consultant Louis Parris lists Corporate and Trust Service Provider among his independent AML/CFT/CPF audit specialisations, built on more than 30 years in commercial banking and ICA and ACAMS (CAMS, CAMS-Audit) credentials.

Together, that combination — practitioner-level trust administration knowledge and independent audit rigour — is what lets us build AML/CFT programmes and beneficial ownership processes that hold up under FSC inspection, not just under internal review.

Trust & CSP compliance
in Barbados, answered

Which trust and corporate service providers does Four CCCC work with?

Licensed trust companies, corporate service providers, and registered agents administering international business companies, trusts, and foundations in Barbados — including entities also subject to captive insurance or other financial services regulation.

Do trust and corporate service providers need an independent AML/CFT audit?

Yes. TCSPs are designated non-financial businesses and professions (DNFBPs) under Barbados' AML/CFT/CPF Regulations and are subject to the same risk-based supervision expectations as financial institutions, including independent testing of their AML/CFT programme.

How is beneficial ownership verification different for trust structures?

Trust structures require identifying and verifying settlors, trustees, protectors, and beneficiaries — not just shareholders — and keeping that information current as trust arrangements change. We build beneficial ownership verification and record-keeping processes specific to trust and foundation structures, not adapted company-only templates.

Can you combine AML/CFT compliance work with corporate administration support?

Yes. Where a trust or corporate service provider also needs corporate file audits, record keeping, or secretarial support for the entities it administers, we deliver both alongside each other — see our dedicated corporate administration services.
